I replaced the 24V AC/DC adapter with the one that came with the 24V Micca Mini amp, no problem, works fine, no hiss or hum. This is a better amp than the 50 watt Micca Origain if you have 8 ohm speakers. I didn't like the Origain 50Watt and am returning it in favor of a TDA7498E.
