I've wanted to try one of these for a long time to make my work a little more mobile. It works very well as a second monitor to complement your laptop screen. The picture is a hair's breadth better than my actual laptop screen. Setup is very easy. A USB-C cable to my laptop provides power and video to the monitor. There are a few settings you can adjust through the OSD, but I found the default settings worked for me. At just over $100, you really can't go wrong with one of these. I also tested it on my Steam deck. In this setting, the deck cannot turn on the screen itself. Using the included charger I was able to connect the screen and then a USB-C cable to the deck for the video signal. In fact, it seems that's how my deck loads from the screen. Of course, this reduces the mobility of the steam deck, but it was interesting to try.
