Review on Revamp Your Cleaning Routine with OTC 6043 Blast-Vac Multipurpose Cleaning Gun by Larry Cho

Worked great, now warm.

I have a 4 year old Ram 3500 Cummins Diesel with 160,000 miles on it. The heat in the cabin is no longer hot, this truck will melt you in minutes. But this winter the heat was lukewarm at best. I checked the mixing doors, changed the thermostat although I didn't think it was a problem, it was cheap enough and 160k is about the time. We had a water pump recall and mistook it for a new pump that won't hurt. Last resort before completely disassembling the dashboard, including unloading the air conditioning to get to the heater core, so at least a full day and hundreds of dollars, or pay the dealer $ 1500 for it. I bought it after watching a video on You Tube. It worked great, now we have full heat and it gets over 150 degrees with 25 outside. Before we had about 75 degrees! The included plastic male-to-male quick connector sucks and leaks, so I had a brass male connector and a brass quick-release connector. It's plastic, well made, but I can see it can break if you don't use your head. You also need to keep track of the PSI and amount of water you are using so you don't blow up the heater core. I've fired air at 50-75psi and fired pulses to get the bullets through multiple times with varying amounts of water, multiple times from both directions. I also soaked the core with Thermocure for 30 minutes, rinsed and soaked in vinegar for 10 minutes and rinsed. Very happy
