This is exactly what I needed for flash drives. Lately they don't have a loop anymore and don't quite fit the key ring anymore (the hole is too small). But now with these laces I can tie them all to the ring. No discs lost :D. Only downside is they are small (medium pinky nail) and difficult to hold when put on, but can be done without tools. Remember that the window opening (inside and outside) must be closed. Together the ring does not expand. See my photo.
