So it looks much better to me to swap out the remote from time to time
But you know what? For the price it is worth having a 100% working remote control. If I need to replace it, so be it. But I was about to buy a brand new TV, so it seems much better to swap out the remote once in a while. I am satisfied with this replacement remote control; it works great no matter how much it works it will be better than struggling with the old one.
