It is this Vizio TV remote control model that has the best layout and most versatile button set I know. All my multiple Vizio TVs. Some came with remotes from other models which are less than satisfactory so I ordered three of this model and they have the best control and same configuration for all my TVs. In my other activities, I don't want to fool around trying to figure out what control I'm using.

About 3-4 weeks after I bought this exact replacement for my friend's TV, he started acting up. I went to change channel and the tv would turn off (sometimes it would turn off when I was selecting a channel), we had to press the up and down buttons so hard that it would react it hurt us. Finger. I would not recommend this to anyone. I am very unhappy with him and have been tempted to run my car over him many, many times. But you know what? For the price it is worth having a 100% working remote control. If I need to replace it, so be it. But I was about to buy a brand new TV, so it seems much better to swap out the remote once in a while. I am satisfied with this replacement remote control; it works great no matter how much it works it will be better than struggling with the old one.

Vizio's product quality seems to be declining rapidly. I bought a 42" Vizio TV a few years ago. This is the remote model that came with the TV. After about a year I'm having trouble getting the remote to log all my button presses. After about 18 months less than half of the buttons worked. Then I ordered a new remote control.
