They are well made (of course they're Fox River socks!) and have very thick terry padding from the heel down and down both sides of the foot and wrap around the toes. Very convenient! BUT - they take up some volume with this amount of cushioning. So if your shoes fit perfectly with thin or medium cushioned socks, they can make your shoes feel a bit tight. If your shoes have extra volume, then they take on the extra volume and take your feet to the sky!
