I tried this product on 2 nails but nothing happened so I trimmed the rest of the nails and removed the gel quicker. It says wait 5-15 minutes after polishing. My master does not put a thick layer of gel on the nails. If you buff the nail polish, the underlying gel will be removed without using this product. The file that came with it wasn't enough and you would polish it for a while. All I used was Sally's Beauty Supply's $1 100 Grit Coarse Nail File and the color faded in no time. Just be sure to move to a different part of the nail to remove all of the color once you see your nail. After that I polished it to a high shine and used vitamin D oil. If you want to save time, do not buy this product.
