Slightly disappointed with this product. I ordered one for large dogs (over 80lbs) thinking it would be best for my very active medium sized dog (up to 50lbs). It only took her 10 minutes to pull the screws out of the flooring and run after the neighbor's cat, dragging this block behind her. The screws (all 4) came out of the deck with a strong jerk. They are only about 1/2 inch long even though they are thick. I would recommend replacing the screws that come with this unit with longer ones. it's useless The block itself, the retractable part of the leash, works well, it retracts and runs smoothly. I feel like if it originally came with longer bolts it would have been the perfect block for my situation. Unfortunately, I still have a device that I need to fix before I can use it again. I would not recommend this device for active dogs in any weight class.
