Bought this teapot as a gift for a friend, she was delighted when she received the teapot although she did not use it straight away. When she decided to use the kettle, she noticed that no matter which room she was in at home, she couldn't hear the kettle whistling. She stood by the kettle and did a "test", she could barely hear the kettle whistle, nor could she remove the nozzle from the kettle to pour out the water. After replacing the kettle, she received an inaudible kettle. Wherever you are in the house she loves the bright color of the kettle and the spout detaches very easily to pour water for tea, coffee or just hot water. She says she loves the color of the teapot and the bright shine it retains after it's been used for a while. She would definitely recommend this kettle to other Revain customers.
