After fiddling with screwdrivers and then a small but still inadequate three-jaw puller that didn't fit under the wiper base, I stopped and regrouped. It seemed likely that I would cut the wiper transmission before I could get my hand free. I love my Saab 9 5 station wagon and don't want to break unnecessary parts on it. So I looked at cheap windshield wiper pullers, the reviews were questionable in terms of durability. Then I found a heavy duty OTC puller. I decided it was worth it. First inspection on arrival was very favourable, strong cast, good finishes and lively centre. I sent him to work this morning, he turned out to be a champion. I applied some rust penetrant a few days ago and this fine tool quickly removed the levers. This is really a professional tool. I look forward to using it for many years. I don't regret the price or the quality.
