I have used this puller on several Saab 9-5 wipers that seem to be really stuck on the shaft. I've previously used a small two-handled puller with various clamps and pliers to keep everything from slipping off, but they tended to bend badly and barely worked. This tool fits snugly, pulls straight and never seems to come loose from the end of the shaft and will successfully pull the most stubborn wipers. Hooray!
