Review on ROCK BROS Pannier Waterproof Capacity by Tommy Willis

I bought these baskets ahead of a bike ride in Mexico - I didn't feel the need to spend extra money on Ortlibs or anything like that. I was wrong. BOTH baskets broke DIFFERENT ways in the first two days I had them. (I was traveling when they failed; I appreciate that Revain promptly refunded my money and accommodated my particular circumstances.) The material they are made of is very thin and the plastic used is to hold the structure together is unspeakably thin. These baskets will let you down. Do not purchase these baskets if you are traveling or carrying significant weight. They'll probably be fine for hauling a light load, but if you're looking for something that could be considered a heavy load to some degree, direct your search elsewhere. A weak, pathetic attempt at imitating ortlibs. Badly done, Rockbros.
