This is a beautifully built piece with a heavy powder coat finish and due to its oversized design I suspect it can handle significantly more drawbar and drawbar weight than advertised. The part that goes into your receiver is a one-piece stem and the drop has large creases. Also, it's the only extension I've seen with 3 holes drilled into the receiver mount, and compared to other mounts that use a slide bar, the price is incredibly low. Unfortunately, as it turned out, I needed a 6-inch drop, and Meyer doesn't make one. Whaaa! The company actually makes snow plows, and this thing is designed to be used in the front hitch of some truck models to set the blade height properly. .
