Works really well after a sharp edge is put on it.
This pick axe came in two parts have to put them together. It came with a blunt edge so I had to take my metal file and put a sharp edge on it to cut the weeds. I stride it before sharpening it would not cut through weeds it would just smash it until I put the sharp edge on it. If you buy this pick axe expect to sharpen it with a file or grinder what ever you have to put an edge on this took.
