Review on 🎧 Avantree TC417 Bluetooth Transmitter Receiver: High-quality Wireless Audio Adapter for TV, Headphones, and Home Stereo Systems with 20H Playtime & aptX Low Latency by David Edwards

I had a Taotronics transmitter that worked great with my Avantree Audition headphones for 2 years. The Taotronics transmitter recently died, so I was thinking about trying the Avantree transmitter. I immediately noticed that the audio was so distorted that I could barely hear what people were saying. It almost sounded like heavy noise mixed with distortion. I found that after syncing the second headset, the issue was resolved even after disconnecting the second headset. Bluetooth headphones from another brand have never had this problem with the sound, even when connected separately. I have returned the item for a replacement. The second Avantree station had the exact same problem. After contacting Avantree support they suggested that the problem might be with the headphones even though they are only 2 years old. So I bought a new pair of headphones, exactly the same model. The problem persists, so I am returning both the transmitter and the headphones. There is clearly a design flaw that the company has not tested on its products. I will buy a Bluetooth transmitter from Taotronics. Update February 24th 2019 Avantree support was very helpful throughout the process. They ended up sending me their Audikast bluetooth transmitter which looks like the latest bluetooth transmitter they sell. It's much nicer than the Taotronics and has two buttons for connecting two headphones while the Taotronics has one button. The sound quality is excellent and works with my 2 year old Avantree headphones. Connects quickly with no problems. At the same time, the TC417 model did not work with my Avantree headphones.
