To be fair, I just finished painting last night. I have purchased 1/2" stack rollers that are designed for rough/concreted surfaces. To prep, we drained the pool, patched a few cracks, sprayed it with a mixture of bleach and water, used a cleaning brush, and let it dry. shiny white. The color was quick and easy to apply. Hand painted along the tile line and the vertical edges of the steps. I didn't want the surface of the steps to be slippery. Otherwise, rollers were used. Wet paint is removed with a damp cloth (I cleaned it right after). on the second layer The weather report says it will not rain for 3 days. I hope for 48 hours. It also says to wait 7 days before filling the pool. I painted Friday night. I plan on filling the pool from Thursday so I'm available next weekend. I painted the pool once but the color is fading (pool with chlorine). It was a different color. If something happens, I'll come back and edit.
