Follow the instructions for amazing results

So glad I chose Aquamarine. If you follow the instructions exactly, you will most likely get excellent results. Read the requirements/instructions a few times to understand them, then observe the weather and plan. Avoid direct sunlight, allow enough time before it rains, keep the painted pool dry after rain (I used a pump to cover and vacuum the pool when puddles appeared). The paint worked great. Dilute the first coat with water according to the instructions. The second layer filled…

You don't need this paint

I have followed all the instructions for cleaning the pool and preparing for painting. Then I painted and waited 7 days to dry before filling the pool with water. Shortly thereafter, the paint began to blister and discolour in places. I thought maybe I did something wrong. So I ordered more paint and went through the whole process of high pressure washing, then cleaning with muriatic acid, then waiting 4 days for the paint to dry before painting it and waiting 7 days for the paint to dry before

Buyer Beware Best in Pool & Deck Repair Products

This is our 5th time painting our pool. In general, we can expect approximately 3 years of color life without fading or discoloration. We painted our pool on July 4th 2019 and prepared the pool as recommended and as we have done for the past 14 years. The outer rim and the rim of the pool look great the way we painted them yesterday. The rest of the pool completely disappeared as if we hadn't even painted it. The color actually looks like it was completely washed off. Now we face the cost and…

Beautiful color, excellent coverage, one coat.

To be fair, I just finished painting last night. I have purchased 1/2" stack rollers that are designed for rough/concreted surfaces. To prep, we drained the pool, patched a few cracks, sprayed it with a mixture of bleach and water, used a cleaning brush, and let it dry. shiny white. The color was quick and easy to apply. Hand painted along the tile line and the vertical edges of the steps. I didn't want the surface of the steps to be slippery. Otherwise, rollers were used. Wet paint is removed…

Wonderful. Brilliant. Why didn't I buy it EARLIER?

Free evaluation. Amazing product. Incredibly easy to use and the results are too good to believe. Check out the difference in the pictures. The pool looked like one of those pictures of the Greek Sea from Mykonos - beautiful brilliant ultramarine. The coverage depends on the porosity and condition of the pool plastic. Etching the plaster with dilute acid is a must, a mandatory drying time before you start coating (otherwise you will have problems) and a dry drying time of 5 days without rain…

Worked great and lasts! Would definitely use again! Let dry for 7 days!

I was renovating our 30 year old concrete pool. As you can see from the photos it was in pretty rough condition! I was offered $12-15k for new plaster which is not in our budget! So I decided to paint it. It was my first time painting a pool and this is my story. We live on the Georgia coast, right at sea level, so before we completely drained our pool, our first step was to find a well. If you live in an area with high water tables, contact the company that installed your in-ground pool and…
