Review on 🏊 INSL-X Waterborne Semi-Gloss Royal Blue Pool Paint - 1 Gallon: Top-quality Acrylic Formula for Long-lasting Pool Surfaces by Brian Rogel

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Wonderful. Brilliant. Why didn't I buy it EARLIER?

Free evaluation. Amazing product. Incredibly easy to use and the results are too good to believe. Check out the difference in the pictures. The pool looked like one of those pictures of the Greek Sea from Mykonos - beautiful brilliant ultramarine. The coverage depends on the porosity and condition of the pool plastic. Etching the plaster with dilute acid is a must, a mandatory drying time before you start coating (otherwise you will have problems) and a dry drying time of 5 days without rain when you start filling the pool. Use a sock or towel wrapped around the end of the hose to minimize damage when filling with the pool fill line or hose - this allows you to fill the pool gently without mechanical friction and abrasion of the pool cover. Apply with a high bristle/long bristle brush - I do not recommend spraying due to loss of material and overspending. This material bonds tightly to other surfaces almost instantly. So if you drop, spray or spill it, clean it up immediately or you will have serious trouble removing it after drying. Deck spills could not be burned with a propane torch, mechanical wire removal - slow, oh so slow removal required a 3200psi pressure washer at max concentration. The product is absolutely amazing and delivers incredible results. A 13,000 square foot pool with 15 year old plaster required two gallons to apply multiple coats. I would recommend using this product for the first year of your pool to get rid of chemical burns and corrosion and it will help a lot in the fight against algae. Color tip, quality brush with trimmed edges, long handle and high-pile roller, disposable color liner.
