The bottles are small, yes (6ml or 0.2oz) but they stain well and you don't have to use a lot. When using them in soap making I have found that the colors show up best in clear soap. If you use a white soap base (the ingredients usually include titanium dioxide), the colors will not be bright or very bright. In the picture is the galaxy soap which I made using a glycerine based clear soap and you can see the blue and purple layers I applied are very light. Note: Gold is mica, not soap dye. I made 38 bars of soap, about 4 ounces each, and I didn't even use half of each bottle (Royal Blue and Grape Purple). I'm no expert and I do this as a hobby so it suited me.
