These glasses are light, comfortable and strong enough. My job as an aero-medic requires me to bend the arm of my glasses many times throughout the day to fit under my helmet. Also, when I'm not wearing them, they get caught in my flight vest and often get compressed during rescue operations. The plastic lenses are scratch-resistant and the image sharpness is very good. If I have one complaint, it's that on a few pairs I've had over the past few years, the little pin holding the lever on the lenses has fallen off, which I think can be fixed, but for $20 I just got some new ones. The vast majority of Sportex readers I've had have been excellent.
