Review on PurolatorBOSS PBL24011 - Ultimate Engine Protection Spin-On Oil Filter in Black by Brent Peterson

Obviously without a lot of equipment or a lot of time and some expense I can't speak about the true effectiveness of this filter but I can speak about the outer design and the installation method First is the rough surface fantastic and very easy to install. The label does distract from that, it's properly smudged in the middle and covers half the perimeter, but it would be better if the label was engraved on the filter or not at all (who the heck needs a label?) Either way, it attached easily and the grip was fantastic. The price is right too, on par with any other premium Wix or Delco filter.
