The decibel level is just right for my tastes. does not interfere even if you are in the same room as it is being used. When it comes to cleanliness, an apartment that does not have carpets performs significantly better than was anticipated. But, I am not confident that it will effectively clean carpets (here I would look towards irobot). Despite my initial impression that the wet cleaning function serves little purpose, I have no problem making use of it. When he is cleaning, he "pokes his nose" into the walls and into chairs. If he forgets to remove the cat's bowl from the apartment, he also drags it in front of him throughout the apartment (although I expected that he would recognize objects in front of him so as not to take cat poop all over the apartment, if any ).
