Poor quality, can't handle big monitors

Cheap. All of the black screws and most of the holes they go in are *painted* which means you'll have some trouble getting them into place properly. And the metal is cheap, so there's a risk of stripping the threads if you use enough force to scrape the paint off the threads. I had to "hammer" the threads with unpainted nuts and bolts to make them minimally usable. Some of the pre-installed mounts were so "painted on" that they couldn't even be removed with pliers. It is advertised to work with monitors up to 32 inches - that's just NOT true. I put two 24 inch monitors on top of mine and it immediately started falling in my face. The "leg" of the stand just isn't big enough. I won't even try to put a third monitor top center. I was able to temporarily fix the tilting issue by squeezing the monitors against the stand's vertical tube, but I'll probably have to drill holes in the base and screw it to a large board to really fix the issue. .The threaded "sleeve" used to join two vertical tubes must be held in place by two set screws screwed into the threads on the vertical tubes. This violates some of the most basic mechanical assembly rules - DO NOT overtighten (if at all) these set screws or you risk damaging the threads and potentially making it impossible to disengage the tubes from one another in the future. Allen keys are not supplied which are large enough to adjust the stiffness of the arms so you will need your own set of Allen keys. You will need a file or sandpaper. This is a "3 monitor" stand only if you have two lower monitors near the floor. If you are using a laptop that is not closed, place the bottom two monitors high enough so that the laptop's built-in monitor doesn't leave enough room for a third monitor, unless all three monitors are fairly small (less than 20 inches I think).

Pros
  • Nice thing
Cons
