Review on Monoprice 1.5-Feet USB 2.0 A Male to Mini-B 5pin Male Cable - Gold Plated, White (108632) by Kevin Hawkins

I took this cable with the intention of cutting it apart. I wanted a cable with a built in choke so I didn't have to improvise with a clip, but imagine my surprise when I cut it in half and found it was actually shielded! I cut up some cheap USB cables. Cables over time, but possibly this is the first time that not only the wires for the USB pinouts are correctly color coded, but also the shielding foil/braid around the internal conductors. This is important for using nearby radios, both to protect against RFI from the electronics (which I needed) and to prevent RF energy from encrypting data on the cable. Using this cable 100% solved all my interference issues I had when charging/powering on the dash cam interfering with my radios. As I cut them I wish it was a little shorter but I'll probably get these again anyway as proper escape is very important for my purposes.
