Review on IRIS Extra Deluxe Travel Carrier by Maya Allen

This is the best carrier we have found for our 15 pound tuxedo cat after searching and comparing hundreds of them. The branded stretcher we originally bought for him from the pet store was less strong and durable than this one and the screws were flimsy plastic. This one seems much stronger and more durable, and the screws on the sides are metal instead of plastic. This is of great importance. We already took him to the last vet appointment in an IRIS carrycot and he fits in perfectly without the slightest complaint. The interior is spacious with enough space for a comfortable carrycot, blanket/towels and toys. It also comes with a bowl that can be placed on the front for food/treats or water. It may be a little more expensive than others on the market, but you can't set the price when you know your pet is safe in their carrier. An added benefit is that the spaciousness of the cage has greatly reduced our cat's anxiety when traveling. Based on that benefit alone, I would highly recommend this carrier to anyone considering purchasing one.
