Overall everything works but I have two minor complaints: 1.) The backlight is not full. The words "winds inside" and "winds outside" are highlighted (and can be connected in a variety of ways), but the central winch logo is only partially highlighted. 2.) The switch is definitely not waterproof, so I suspect it will fill up with sand and dirt over time. Otherwise it works, has good tabs to snap into, fits a standard size switch knockout, and looks good. . It seems a little cheap but the spring action is strong and it should work. The lettering is clear and detailed. It would be nice if it came with a diagram showing which pins the LED light is connected to as that would speed up the installation. The pigtails it comes with are push to release (i.e. lock style) and came in very handy for my application.
