This is one of the most beautiful dresses I have ever had. It's a rich, beautiful color and a soft, heavyweight fabric that swings well as you walk. I am 5 feet 6 inches tall and weigh 125 pounds. I ordered a medium size and it fits me perfectly. I have a long waist and find it difficult to find dresses without a belt or seam around the ribs - this style allows me to wear a belt. Dress on my true waist. It's very comfortable and a good choice for colder weather. I wish the sleeves were an inch longer, but that's my only gripe. I probably won't machine wash this dress, but I will take it to the dry cleaner. Better to play it safe with a dress that you really like!
