Bought these to replace the old halogen headlights on my boat. The solid construction and thick coating provided a good start for an improved replacement. They rocked out of the box. The pattern is better than the old ones. The instructions were simple but clear enough. It took me several months to get to the routine installation work. The guide suggested testing first. I tested both and only one of the two worked. I just didn't take the time to test before the time was up as I've moved and delayed installing until after the return window. The excellent reviews said high quality so I was wrong. The rear window is now closed. Installation is extremely tedious as the mounting bolts and support nuts are loose in the bracket making it difficult to mount flush to the bracket. I'm not looking forward to replacing them if necessary. Only half of the pair works, so low score. The one that works is bright daylight, which is enough to navigate through the dark if necessary. Too bad I didn't check them immediately after receiving them.
