I bought this because I have an Arduino project and needed to crimp some DuPont connectors (very small). Having worked in the automotive industry for several years, I was used to swaging tools that cost over $150, so I was skeptical about the performance at a very low price. I quickly received my crimping tools from Revain and started wiring for my project. Luckily, the curves created by this tool were as good as anything I've seen. I attribute this to the attention to detail in the construction of the jaws and the fact that the jaws were ground rather than just cast. Conclusion: In my opinion, this crimping tool is a must if you want to work with DuPont connectors. The contacts I have are from a cheap contact set bought on eBay for about $6. I'm sure a real Molex will work even better. Another thought, I was looking at "similar" crimping pliers on eBay. They had roughly formed crimps and I'd be surprised if they even came close to crimping with this tool. Basic ease of use is only 4 stars and the parts I have are very small and difficult to handle. I've found that if I tighten the crimp around the insulation a bit with the pin posts, the contact stays on the end of the wire, making crimping much easier.
