Not bad for sports water bottles
Cons: If your kid doesn't screw the cap on properly, it will leak. The problem is that it's too easy to make a mistake. I've done this myself several times. Straw is difficult to clean inside. You need to buy a straw cleaner that isn't as abrasive. Not suitable for travel as it is not insulated. Pros: Once you remember how to unscrew the lid and clean the straw, it's all great for water around the house. Otherwise not much.
