The holes are just crazy

They're so cute but awful, like a salt and pepper shaker! The holes are on the underside of their heads and face down. So when I fill the shakers, the salt just sloshes back onto the table. If I only fill them halfway (which is inefficient) it's still impractical to pour them horizontally into the food. Very happy with how they look, not happy with how they don't work!
