I applied brown griffin leather paint to a pair of worn, frayed casual leather shoes that no longer responded properly to shoe polish and looked too ugly to continue using. This leather color is darker than the original color of these particular shoes. Shoe polish should be used after the paint has dried. The result after a few minutes of work was good - if you don't look very closely, the shoes can now be considered lightly worn. Unlike Kiwi's black colorway for the black version of the same shoe, the color of the light stitching hasn't changed much, keeping the overall style of the shoe the same. Overall I am very satisfied - it was a small financial outlay compared to buying new shoes.
