Review on πŸ’‘ 10-50V Driver Module Extension for Controllers by Mark Loebis

Works well in Industrial Electrical

I use this as a speed controller for my car fan motor. The original speed control pulley has melted so much that it no longer makes contact. This is a fairly common failure mode for this type of switch. I've seen a lot of cars with speed settings that didn't work, so I didn't want to replace them with original parts. So far, so good. Despite the exit of hot air from the duct to the radiators, there are no problems with thermal overload. I chose this product over some of the cheaper alternatives as it appears to offer excellent thermal management. A good heatsink is definitely worth a few bucks more when running higher amp loads. In the end, I look forward to 3D printing a new pen to replace the factory pen. While it just hangs on the wires under the radio. I connected about a foot of wire to allow the handle to be mounted to the console while the PWM board lays on the floor behind everything. The motor is connected directly to the circuit board. The board gets 12V from the ignition switch. That way it shuts down along with other "accessories" and bypassing the original fan circuit is painless.
