Ok how much is a sheet of paper and some ink for instructions? Unless you realize that some of these are security screws that won't come loose, so if you screw them to the wrong panel, you're out of luck. Even without a template, if you screw the plate on incorrectly, the door will not close and you will not be able to unscrew the screws because they are security screws. And looking at some customer photos, everyone has their own idea of how to place it. There is no protection in a photo. You can still see the door lock and you can open it with a credit card. Another customer put it on backwards. Many negative reviews are due to the lack of instructions. All I got was a plastic bag with two pieces of metal and a bag of assorted screws. Damn! Could you provide basic instructions and a template? Or at least enter the product label link for instructions and download the template. For the amount it would cost me to return the product, they could print out the instructions for multiple instances of the product.
