Review on SUPCASE Unicorn Beetle Pro Series Case For Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G (2021 Release) Cell Phones & Accessories by Juan Gomez

Hard case, but quite large

The moment I open the packaging of this case, a few things come to mind. First, it's pretty big. I saw another review saying it's not as big as the OtterBox case for the S21 Ultra. That means the case just has to be huge. They add that this case can fit an S-Pen (which is made specifically for the S21 Ultra, NOT the smaller one that fits a Note phone and NO, it doesn't come with an S-Pen, y'all still have to have it (buy that separately) and this case is quite large. Second, this case reminds me a lot of Urban Armor Gear's style. is this a divorce No, but like I said, it reminded me a bit of the UAG hull. It also has a built-in kickstand that increases the thickness of the case. What bothered me was that it wouldn't be compatible with wireless charging, which I'm a HUGE fan of. I'm happy to report that despite the built-in kickstand, it still charges wirelessly. Kudos to Supcase for pulling this off as any other case with a kickstand tends not to be compatible with it. It has a rubber cover on the bottom that you have to slide down to connect and charge the case with a cable. . I have no idea why it's there. The case isn't waterproof, so why leave holes for speakers, a microphone, but no charging port? It doesn't make any sense to me. There may be a good reason for this, but not one that immediately springs to mind. The outer shell has a rubber-like finish that not only protects but also grips the case. Have you ever bought or handled a case that was so slippery that you were more likely to drop it with the case on than without? Well, that's not the case. The S Pen slot is pretty secure. I have 2 other cases that the same S Pen can also fit in (one is made by Spigen but I can't remember the manufacturer of the other case but it's silicone and fairly transparent) but none of them last him as sure as suitcase. The big difference is that the slot in the middle of the case has an open area where you have to grab the pin and point it up to remove it, while in the other two cases you just have to grab it and pull it out, to remove it. They all hold the stylus fairly well, the Spigen holds up better than the silicone case I mentioned, but both pale in comparison to the Supcase. I would say this case is at least 30% larger than the other two I own. It's a little uncomfortable to wear depending on what I'm wearing. I'll no doubt get used to it, but I still thought it was worth mentioning. If you can handle very large cases and that rubber plug on the bottom of the charging port (which STILL annoys me and makes no sense) then this might be the case you're looking for. I would say without hesitation that this is probably the most durable case on the market for the S21 Ultra that can hold an S Pen. Maybe there will be another over time, but as it stands I'd bet my money on this one for its sheer durability and protection. Be warned though: the case will ask you to remove any protective film before using it. Keep this in mind. All in all a good case. Just pretty big.
