I bought a SonoHealth EKG monitor in February 2020 and it came with a lovely 38 page booklet with very good instructions. When I first tried it, there were a lot of artifacts and I thought about bringing it back. But then I read that you need to apply "alcohol, saline or conduction gel" to ensure better accuracy. I applied some saliva to my fingers, arms and chest to increase conductivity and the artifact disappeared and I was able to take very good pictures. I downloaded the mobile app to my iPhone and initially had connection problems. Also, the time and date were wrong. After trying for a while, I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, after that everything worked fine. I used the included minUSB to USB cable to connect to my desktop computer and downloaded the desktop software and it ended up working. So after initial problems I am very satisfied with the product. It seems to be a great alternative to the Kadian device that requires a $10/month fee after the first free month. Additionally, not only can you get Lead I waveforms, you can also get the chest lead (Lead V) and Lead II. The key for me was to use a small amount of saliva to improve conductivity. It made all the difference in the world. I am a retired doctor.
