I am without a doubt the person for whom this product was made. I have 5 full suspension bikes that I use for a variety of scenarios. I enduro on a throttled 170mm Nomad and do XC racing with a 100mm scalpel. I have a 27.5+ bike, a fat bike and a double crown DH bike that I do a lot of descents and climbs on. I use my bikes for DH, for XC, rocky trails, snow, fast solo trails, whatever. When I started seeing positive reviews about it on MTBR I was really excited. For example, I have a Nomad β I use it for enduro racing (pedal up, pedal down), local cross-country with friends, pure downhill days, technical solo tracks and the occasional light cross-country. Also, I'm the type to deal with OCD, so being in my wheelhouse was spot on. and it adjusts your bike properly, you really don't need it anymore. That's not me - I have many bikes that I use for different purposes. Unfortunately I got it back after two weeks with it (about 150 miles MTB on 4 wheels). It's too inconsistent. I have a standard local line which has everything it takes to be 100% reliable. Curves, rocks, climbs, descents, jumps, sprints - everything is perfect. So I rode the hell out of a bike. I've tuned, ridden, calibrated, tuned, ridden several times and given enough data to say "All is well". I would get my suggestions almost perfect on a green field, but I would do the following: - 100psi, no pads, rebound real slow - 80psi, no pads, rebound in the middle - 80psi inches, 1 or 2 shims, rebound at center - 90psi, no shims, rebound real quick. you have the idea I'll go to hell out of the same loop, 10-20 miles straight, at about the same pace. And ShockWiz tells me that my "ideal" setup is very different each time. A bike with 100psi in the fork and fully slow rebound feels and handles completely different than a 90psi bike with two spacers and mid-rebound. I don't need Shockwiz to tell me that - I can feel it. So what's better? I have no idea. I've gone through all of the above on 4 different bikes. I've ridden a TON, I've calibrated a TON, and at the end of the day I just shrug because my touch settings are pretty close to some of Shockwiz's recommendations and they seem better to me. If it was $125 or $150 I would leave that to the computer factor. But it's not - it's $325 and totally inconsistent, and at this price point it shouldn't be. Others have had better luck with this, but not me. I can't rely on that, so I sent it back.
