I didn't want something too big to clutter things up, especially as my cat tends to be more of a bush dweller than a tree dweller. He likes to hide in all the closets and takes up the upper space at night when it's dark. He has used scratching posts before and loves anything involving a bell so overall this is a decent buy for the price. With a few exceptions, assembly was fairly easy. It was a bit difficult for me to figure out how to assemble a cavernous box, but I've had experience building retail things in the past. I got pretty good at reading between the lines and planning my build ahead of time.
