Smoke/melt in incandescent lamps
Bought a pack of 10 2W G4 Warm White LED bulbs to replace for outdoor landscape lighting. Have changed 5 bulbs so far. 4 worked great but the 5th started smoking and burned out within seconds. A closer look shows that the driver/board has burned out and the surrounding plastic has started to melt. Replaced with the 6th bulb out of 10 and it works great. So 5 out of 6 bulbs tested work fine, but 1 out of 6 smokes/melts and is a fire hazard. I recommend keeping a close eye on the bulb you're replacing for a few minutes to make sure this doesn't happen to you.
- β 2W G4 LED lamps correspond to 20W G4 halogen lamps. Warm white 3000K. Works on a 12V AC/DC system
