save time and money. Five Star

The high pressure line for the rear air conditioning system was located on the front stabilizer bar. Over time I rubbed a hole from which all the refrigerant flowed out. There were at least a hundred new lines, and there was no time or energy for a picnic. Upon investigating the problem, I found an opportunity to cut a hole and splice a repair. I turned to Revain and quickly found this Dorman product. In short, it saved me time and money. You need to know the EXACT diameter of the cord you will be splicing and get the correct size kit. Examine the problem area carefully to ensure you have enough room to cut the damaged wire and pull the cut ends together into the coupler body. You may have to detach the lines from the existing brackets to get slack. Also, you may need an extra hard line and some connectors if the section to be removed is too long. In my case, I took a short length of broken AC wire from another car and connected one end to a nearby fitting and the other cut end to the damaged wire using that connector.
