Will not fit 2000 and 2001 Cherokees
Item is ok but not the same part for 2000 and 2001 Cherokees. Stock updated in 2000. Need part number 40183 without the side "wings" on the underside of the stuffing box. I had to cut the sides off and install it in my jeep last weekend because I had already pulled the oil pan out before I found it out. I will keep an eye on the leaks and be very unhappy if I have to do it again.
