My daughter wanted a camera. "Really," she said. I didn't want to give her a film camera, I wanted something small and solid that could take decent pictures. After several months of research, she became the winner. It only took her a few days to learn how to take good pictures (even with a tripod if needed), and since then she's moved on to the camera's more quirky features — animated. Slide shows, special effects like "mirror images" and the like. I would never pick a camera for these features but she loves them all. The camera isn't perfect; It is not possible to create a slideshow other than showing all the photos taken on a specific day. Some features are strangely greyed out and cannot be selected. Others can be selected but do nothing (especially artificial tilt and shear). But otherwise the camera is so excellent that I give it five stars.
