You get what you pay for.

Let me start by saying that I had a problem with my first pump and no questions asked the company sent me a new one which was delivered to me within 36 hours. I was very pleased with how quickly they were able to resolve my issue. I bought this pump to transfer water from one 5 gallon bucket to another through the hose that came with it. I saw some people commenting on this saying it was perfect for their fountain so I figured pumping the water just 2 1/2 linear feet with a 15 inch stroke would be enough, I was wrong . He couldn't even imagine that it could be connected to a fountain (perhaps to a bedside table). The pump does not come with a filter (I believe at least a piece of mesh foaming in the inlet would be the bare minimum). So if even very small objects such as sand or hair get into the water source, there is a chance that the pump will start to clog. You can take out the grated intake valve and blow it out, but I've been using the pump for about 3 weeks and I can tell the engine will probably burn out pretty quickly. All in all you get what you pay for. It's a cheap 80 gph pump. It can move very little water, but don't think it's connected to any type of fountain, aquarium, or plant tank system.

Pros
  • COMPACT BUT POWERFUL
Cons
  • Clarity
