Review on Yellow Mountain Imports Professional Aluminum: Elevating Game Experience to the Next Level by Ryan Reiter

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very good, but there is room for improvement.

I got this set to replace my other set which I thought was too small (and dirty). These tiles are quite large and very clean. Having played around with this set a few times, here's my take on where it could be improved. 1. The tiles are by no means light, but could be a bit heavier. Sometimes even bones could collide and move stacked tiles. 2. There are no shells in the box. Not the end of the day but it would be more convenient and every other set I've had had trays. 3, There is no "banker" indicator (a triangular piece showing "banker") and chips. Luckily my old set has them and I just kept them to keep them complete. 4. One of the tiles has no flat surface, so it slides across the stack. We all laugh about it because we know exactly what it is when we see it slipping.

Pros
  • Still happy
Cons
  • Expensive
