Review on 💨 Replacement Blower Assembly (TYC 700027) for Ford F Series Pickup: Boost Performance & Efficiency by John Mejia

Installed on a Ford F150 XL 03 model year. There were six 8mm sheet metal screws to remove. The one closest to the firewall was the biggest problem. I used a relatively short ring spanner for this. A flexible ratchet extension or perhaps a quarter inch drive universal joint can also help. I didn't have either of those on hand. The fan wheel is plastic, as is the removed block, and they both appear to be about the same weight/size. While it works great. Don't forget to replace the variable resistor while you're at it. Mine has 220,000 km and I can't complain about the durability. I hope the replacement parts will last the rest of the truck's life.
