Review on Heavy Duty XINDA Screwgate Locking Carabiner Clip For Rock Climbing, Mountaineering, Hammock & Camping Outdoor Equipment by William Anacker

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Anyone can use these clips. Everyone should have at least one.

I provide long distance transport for large breed dogs going into rescue. Managing dogs, keys, wallet, phone, poop bags, water, food. or some combo of above is a lot. especially on the interstate with unfamiliar doggies. These carabiners are the real deal and are worth every penny. I bought and recommend this larger size. Note the very trustworthy, easy to use locking mechanism. this feature alone makes them worth every penny. This item, paired with the Nite Ize "Cinch A Lot" stretch strap(s) (currently sold on Ebay), I'm able to bundle the must haves to one carabiner and dog related items to another carabiner while keeping my hands free to actually walk the dog. OR . In other cases. I use the carabiners as a guy line, or to wrap and lock around a sturdy tree trunk for those doggies shy about peeing on demand.

Pros
  • Climbing
Cons
  • The carabiner may be too heavy to use for extended periods of time
