I was almost disappointed but then I figured out how to properly fit my black and deck mouse. Only fits in one direction. First remove the sandpaper from the grinder. Then lay the sander on its side with the platen towards you. So it actually closes without pressure on the sanding pad and leaves space for the sandpaper in the small holder.
