Review on HUAWEI FreeBuds 3i wireless headphones, ceramic white by Stanislaw Buzala ᠌

I did not like it, I do not advise buying.

Probably, the headphones can be recommended to those who want to use them at home / in the office, or with Huawei smartphones (but this is not certain). Since I use headphones very actively, I regretted the purchase. If I had known about such problems with the quality of the connection, I would have taken thousands of Sony, albeit twice as expensive (although there are similar complaints about them).

Pros
  • Sound is ok. They sit comfortably in (my) ears, do not fall out, including when jogging, although they are rather bulky. Quickly connect to the phone when opening the cover of the case, no need to make any manipulations in the Bluetooth settings. Noise reduction, of course, does not completely dampen the outside world, in particular, it almost does not affect the middle and upper frequencies, but it does an excellent job of removing low frequencies. For example, the subway with noise cancellation turned on is noticeably quieter than without. Yes, even for this price. Comfortable range: I walk around the office 100 m2, the phone is on the table in one of the corners - there are no disconnects. Relatively fast charging in the case. The headphones pause playback when you take one out of your ear.
Cons
  • Headphones do not resume playback when you put a newly removed earpiece back into your ear. Noise canceling chokes if the wind blows. Competitors solve this issue by lowering the level of noise reduction, but there are no settings here: it is either on or off. There is simply no control: you can set up two clicks on the right, two clicks on the left and a long press on either ear. Why is it not possible to assign different actions to a long press on the left and right earbuds? Why is it impossible, according to the classics, to use one and three clicks on each ear? Well, one thing is fine - let's say there may be accidental clicks, but three? On the other hand, even two clicks sometimes work only on the tenth attempt. Relatively short operating time: three hours for the ears themselves + nine hours for the case. Case lid started to creak after a couple of weeks; So far it doesn't bother me much, but no matter how it turns into problems in the future. The left and right headphones are often discharged unevenly (the difference reaches up to 25% of the charge), regardless of the noise reduction. The above is tolerable. Worst of all things are with stuttering on the street. Usually this does not begin immediately, but some time after leaving the room, sometimes it does not occur at all. At first I thought that interference on the streets in the city center could arise due to the large number of various devices around, but the same nonsense happens in the middle of a large park. A couple of times there was a problem of desynchronization of the left and right earphones. Dances with codecs do not help. I tried to reconnect the headphones, put the phone in different pockets, but the only thing that can help is holding the phone in an outstretched hand, which is very convenient. I use it with Pixel 3. There are no such problems with other Bluetooth devices (speakers, headphones, receiver). I would like to see comments that Huawei does not guarantee the operation of headphones with devices from other manufacturers, not in responses to reviews on amazon, but in large letters on the box with headphones.
