I bought this memory to upgrade my wife's aging 2007 Macbook that I was about to convert to Linux (because Apple thought it needed an OS or browser -Updates would no longer deserve). An easy replacement for that storage - combined with a new SSD and a Linux Mint install, the Macbook is running with speed and finesse again, and now with fully supported Firefox, OS updates, etc. Hopefully it will last a few more years. . She hasn't had a single problem running a new operating system with updated hardware and has adapted well to her new environment!
